Product Information:

Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) is a dual-purpose fertilizer supplying nitrogen (27%) for plant growth and calcium (8%) to improve soil structure and prevent nutrient deficiencies. The nitrate nitrogen is immediately available for plant uptake, while the ammonium form provides a slower, sustained release. The added calcium strengthens plant cell walls, reducing disease susceptibility and enhancing fruit and vegetable quality. CAN is particularly beneficial for crops like tomatoes, potatoes, and leafy greens that require high calcium levels. It also helps maintain optimal soil pH, preventing acidification common with other nitrogen fertilizers.


Safety Information:

CAN is safe to use as directed. However, it should be stored in a cool, dry place away from combustible materials. Always wear gloves when handling and keep out of reach of children and pets.

Although CAN generally mixes well with other products, it is not compatible with the following: Superphosphate and Magnesium Oxide.

CAN can be compatible with the following under certain circumstances: Sulphur Super 30.

Segregation may occur when mixed with products with differences in particle size.

Incompatible with: Combustible materials, chloride salts, metal oxides, oxidisable substances, metallic powders, acids, alkalis, organic substances.
